About FMRC
The members of the FMRC Board of Directors welcome you to the premier running, cycling, swimming and triathlon team in the East Bay!
We created this club for you, the recreational, competitive or elite athlete. It is not just for the fastest people. We encourage everyone to participate, regardless of their level of ability. We have worked hard to create a team environment that recognizes participation just as much as performance. However, it's still up to you to get involved and stay involved!
As a registered FMRC team member, you can compete as a team at a wide variety of events, enjoy discounted entries, group training activities on a weekly basis all while enjoying the support and camaraderie of your fellow FMRC teammates.
MISSION
Our mission at The Forward Motion Race Club is to create and promote an organized venue where athletes (runners, triathletes, cyclist, swimmers, etc) of all ages and abilities can pursue their individual training and racing goals in an exciting, motivating, informative and social environment. Having fun and enjoying the camaraderie of our fellow teammates is our main goal.
VISION
Our vision is simple... we don't need to be the biggest, just the best. Our goal is to continue to offer our members an environment that fosters friendship, commmraderie and a sense of community within our communities! Our vision is to continue to act as a gateway for individuals - beginners and elites- to explore their athletic talents. As we look to the future, our hope is that every member of FMRC, regardless of your ability, age or athletic experience, will get involved and stay involved!
