What is your #1 goal for 2011?:
2:50 in the Boston Marathon - April 18, 2011 and M25-29 Podium in the Wildflower Olympic Triathlon - May 1, 2011

Retail Affiliation:
The FOMO store is why I originally joined the club. I love running stores in general, and when I found out they also had triathlon gear I was hooked. It's always impressive when the staff knows what they're talking about and aren't just trying to sell you something. They also mentioned a Wednesday evening run that I attended the following week where I met all my new friends for the first time.

Why are you a member of FMRC?:
I joined FMRC in July 2010 when I moved here from Pennsylvania. This club is the best thing that's happened to me. All the friends I've made are from the club. They are my training partners, my motivators, and my west coast family.

Shoe:
Avia Bolt for tempo runs, track workouts, and races. The Avia Bolt's are nice and lightweight so they make a great speed shoe.

What do you eat race morning?:
When I wake up the morning of a race I try to eat a bowl of oatmeal or a bagel with peanut butter and always a banana.

Favorite Training Run:
The "big lake" loop (4.3mi) in Highland Lakes, NJ where I grew up. I haven't yet found a better route.

Favorite Training Ride:
Mt. Diablo South Gate to Summit

Favorite i-Tunes Play-list:
I never listen to music while running or riding mainly because I listen to the sound of my breathing, foot-strike, and cars.

Who is your mentor / idol?:
Pre stands above my fireplace with the quote, "To give anything less than your best is to sacrifice the gift."

Favorite Food:
French Toast

Favorite Quote:
"I have measured out my life in worn rubber." - Once a runner
