Short Bio
I grew up playing youth soccer in Pleasanton where I was part of many State and Regional Championship teams and was on the first team from Pleasanton to make it to the Youth National Tournament. I attended Amador Valley High School where I played Varsity Soccer for two years (NCS champions both years) Varsity Basketball, ran track, and played tennis. I also earned All EBAL honors as the league’s leading goalkeeper in shut outs and GPG average. I played collegiate soccer at Sonoma State. There I was a member of the National Championship team, went to the Final Four 3 out of 4 years, and was an NSCAA All-American. After graduating, went on to play for the WPSL in Sacramento and San Diego and was National Most Valuable Goalkeeper in 2001.
I first got the triathlon bug when I was in college where I played soccer and would train for and compete in triathlons in the off season. The longest I completed was an international (Olympic) distance. Recently I have completed 2 Ironman distance triathlons (12:19 and 11:26); 2 Half-Iron (5:40 and 5:42) and qualified for the ITU World Long Course Championship. I have been a competitive athlete most of my life and am enjoying the friendly, competitive atmosphere of FMRC. I am a certified Strength and Conditioning Specialist through the NSCA, coach the Foothill JV girl’s soccer team, and a fitness coach.
